Johnny Robert Burnett

   Mr. Johnny Robert Burnett, 71, of Navarre, FL passed from this life Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Ascension Sacred Heart Emergency Care-Navarre in Navarre, FL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, July 7, 1954. He was a member of First Baptist Church Navarre. He worked as a salesman at Gatlin Lumber & Supply Company.
   Mr. Burnett is preceded in death by his father, George Burnett; mother, Beulah Jean Rigney; half-brother, Mark Rigney; nephew, Josh Rigney. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cynthia Tuttle Burnett of Navarre, FL; brother, David Burnett of Prattville, AL; nieces and nephews, Randi Cherri Burnett Stewart, Brandy Cherray Burnett Turner, Matthew David Burnett, Justin Rigney and Jake Rigney.
   Visitation for Mr. Burnett will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
