Terrell H. Yelverton

   Mr. Terrell H. Yelverton, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his residence in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Bay Springs, MS on Thursday, October 8, 1936, to the late Coburn Henry and Kate B. Yelverton. He was a member of Waynesboro Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. He retired as a customer service manager at NECO. After retiring from NECO he began a second career at State Farm Insurance.
   Mr. Yelverton is preceded in death by his parents, Coburn Henry and Kate B. Yelverton; four sisters, Rachel Yelverton, Wanda Jane Cook, Betty Yelverton, and Marilyn Leggett; three brothers, Mark Yelverton, Hollis Yelverton, and Toby Yelverton. He is survived by his brother, Rev. Randall Yelverton (Diane) of Florence, AL; a host of nieces and nephews.
   A Graveside Service for Mr. Yelverton will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2026, at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 1274 SCR 18-5 Bay Springs, MS 39422 with Rev. Randall Yelverton and Rev. Allen Stanton officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Waynesboro Presbyterian Church or Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
